Lots of labyrinth mythology and loads of symbols and footnotes and edits make it one of the most intense reads ever. I can't even describe in words what the book is like, you just have to pick it up. Oh, and its about 900 pages or so, packed from the top to the bottom with text. Enjoy spending a good 2 months reading it.

^No, it's 750+ pages. I just bought online along with it's "sequel"...kinda. But this was a very good read online. Kept me entertained with my insominia and I got to scare Kate!
sorry kate!This would have been a lot better if we foud it last year when it started. That why we didn't just read through it, but I loved it!

Even from the very start, the caver story "journal" was just not believable, but if you can suspend disbelief, then it's not a bad read although lengthy/verbose at times.
