it's a start i guess.
Fujimi only does a near full detail kit when they have to, like the Porsche 917 which has a lot of exposed drivetrain.

You can probably put the Fujimi Maranello body on a Bburago chassis if you want to whip up a full detail model.

This is the best news I've received since the Hasegawa Jota!

Quick question though, guys, what's with the four skeleton dudes on horses floating outside my window?

After all these news I had to check out HLJ to see what future kits there are coming from Fujimi and this was quite surprising too: http://www.hlj.com/product/FUJ18891

I do agree with TireGaint though about rather having an F430 from Tamiya.

Wooohhoooo finally, a 575M and 550 Maranello... I have to make sure I have the money ready to order them (my GF will be furious if she knows this ). I don't really mind for it to be a curbside as long as there are more Ferrari kits for my collection.

I don't know how long it takes to go from measurements to a final kit, but 8 months seems short. At that point, hirofkd and I speculated late 2005 before we see a kit. I'm sure we'll see some type of prototype at Shizuoka, hopefully. I'm sure this kit is a big deal for Fujimi, so I expect them to show it off.
For the past 5 months, I've been dying to share this info, but without confirmation, I couldn't. It was only this Tuesday, when I received a second information (actually it's Hobby Search's mailing list) about an all-new Ferrari kit from Fujimi.

This is indeed a great announcement. And the Nissan March kit is a welcome surprise, too. I thought it was illogical to release the Mitsubishi Colt, instead of the much more popular Nissan compact, but I guess it was just a labor shortage issue or something.
