Re: another VW for another VW thing

Just a thought, the waviness of the reflections along the side make it look as though you need a new body guy. Have you ever thought of doing smoother reflections?

lol Kustom...I would if I was better...I'm tryin. When I get there you'll be the first to know.

If you look close though you can see some western mesas...a common site out here. The owner of the car lives in Mesa, AZ so it's kinda subliminal...look at early morning shots of the Grand Canyon in blue sky...fun stuff.

The clients dig it.

Thanks guys.

I mean the actually line, the one that silhouettes the mesa's and such now, instead of making it bumpy, have you ever done a straight, smooth line?

Re: another VW for another VW thing

Great design, what font do you use for the lettering?
I really like the "embossed" flame look in the company name.

Re: another VW for another VW thing

lol Kustom you're ridin me pretty hard.

OK OK I've never drawn a straight line!!

lol

It's just a preference...that's where I'm at right now. As you develop you change as you grow you learn...I'm trying new things and trying to get better like all of us.

The wavy line doesn't bother me at all. Next time I will take your opinion into consideration...but it's too late for this one.

I'm a student like you...we are all students in this game. If you ever get to the point where your work cannot improve it means you're dead.

I'm sure if you look through my past posts you'll find a straight horizon line...then again maybe you wont. Jeri uses this little half circle on almost every car with flat sides...I call it the Jeri shape...I look for it, like a signature.

maybe you should consider my ugly sides my signature ....lol

one mans trash dude....like I said the client loved it.

It's just art...

Lemorris, thanks.

Where did you get the "Hemi Head 426" font?
I would like to add that to my file.
