The check engine is caused by the AMB temp sensor, every time I try putting it back in the pipe in the hole for it, it sets it off. I have given up and just put it in a position where it gets cold air. I have been doing this for about two years now and the only time that light comes on is when I make the vain attempt to put it back in the hole. You can get the blink codes from the SE-R.net, us the 96 up SE-R..

Don't worry about the water thing, that could happen with a stock intake, besides it would only get sucked in as vapour and a small amount of water vapour actually helps combustion.

If you go to my website.. http://1phagt.innernot.com amd take a look at some of the pics of the car, look at the Erebuni bumper I have. I have the PRI set up cold and the filet sits in the open with only the grille pretecting it. I have had it this way for two years and living in Florida where it rains cows and bulls at times, I have never (knock on wood) had so much as a hiccup driving through torrential rains. Don't get me wrong, I don't suggest driving through standing water and submerging the filter sucking it all in and vapor-locking, but I don't think a little water will hurt either.

I am debating on whether to get the JWT POP charger or the place racing CAI. Is the CAI really worth it? Thanks...
