My father was driving me home while I was sick last wed . We were on 84 and I'm asleep in the back and i wake up with this huge thunk and the sound of gravel on the bottom of the car. Turns out we hit a dead deer in the road. The whole front right of the car and down the side was red from blood and there was fur everywhere. I got the job of cleaning deer guts ouf the fog light.

few. I must be a very lucky man to live in a country were we only hit rabbits and ducks. Still they can damage the front end pretty badly.
Had one incidint with a rabbit last year. It smashed up my foglight.

How did he not see a dead deer laying in the road? It's not like they're the size of a squrriel or rabbit.

the olny thing we gotta dodge are stray dogs cats and an occasional dumbass that desides to cross the street when you're drivng by last time i had to dodge a dog i almost ende up a pink stain on a light poll

I hate deer! When i was little kid my cousin and i were riding home with my mom and a deer jumped out in front of us... It left pieces of it's neck hanging off the front head light, and if it's hoof had hit an inch higher on the passenger side rear door my cousin would probably be dead now. When we got back home my dad told my cousin and i a story about "deer man" and how, now that we've killed one of it's kind he would come and get revenge on us... That was so mean, we stayed up all night scared off our ass, i've hated deer ever since.

We were behind a truck and it came out from under the truck and he was afraid if he tried to swerve to miss it he would get it wit the edge of the tiers and risk tipping the car. So instead he aimed for the ribcage...

Deer in Florida are about the size of a large dog, nothing like the Whitetails here in PA, them suckers are BIG!

lol...why the ribcage?

The closest i ever got to hitting an animal was going down a steep hill around 50...and just in time I saw what I thought was a dog. Thankfully there was a good sized shoulder so instead of locking up the breaks i just hit the gas and swerved onto the shoulder just in time. Oh it ended up just being a stupid opossum. The worlds most useless animal.
