Flying an airplane in Florida. I landed at a small airport to refuel, and no one was around. I went into the terminal, they were all clustered around the TV. Only one jet had hit at this point, they thought it was an accident. I took off and started to fly back where I'd come from, and heard a transmission between two other pilots that a 2nd plane had hit. I landed back at home base and found out that no other planes were being allowed to take off.

Oh yeah, and saw the statue of "The Dog sat on the tucker box, 5 miles from Gundegai". Sad story, that.

Dude, I was in 6th grade too. It was english class, I recall. They told us something had happened, but didnt say exactly what happened. So we had to go through the rest of the day wondering what the hell was going on.

Thanks... been busy trying to get some balance with a lot of things in my life - been pushing myself hard at my job (which has paid off), wrecked my knee before Xmas that meant a lot of time spent at the physio and rehab in the gym, been travelling when I could, chasing various women and deciding that happiness is a journey rather than a destination...

Seems I forgot to put answers in to some of these...

I'd been in 'lust ' many times before I actually fell for someone... I have to admit I fell for her pretty hard which made it all the more difficult when it was time to let her go... I'd gone out with a series of various women - some for years... before I finally finally had the unconditional love thing happen - doomed to fail from the start for so many reasons I could write a book (and possibly might one day - I have enough material...)

Dunno, probably on a big silver flying tube... like most of the women in my life, they seem to leave the country rather than stick around afterwards... One of my best friends said she thinks it has to because a) being with me is an experience that opens a girl's horizons; b) they hate me so much they can't even bear to be in the same country or the same side of the world; c) I'm a magnet for crazy chicks who just want some short term affair... She also thinks it's about time I hopped on a plane and chased after one of them.... maybe she's right!
