New sub forums!!!

i don't think it should be broken down in the first place. it'll just be a hassle to jump back and forth ... plus if you look at the amount of new threads that appear per day... it's only about 2 or 3. nothing extensive or overwhelming to the point where we can't keep track of what's going on.

i'm just assuming a lot of the 'talking' done on the forums will be just be arguments over which topic belongs in which sub-forum instead of actual meaningful conversations...

There will still be a main forum. The other will just be additions at the top. Like in the cavalier section, the camaro and the eclipse forums.

Also I like tat's suggestion too but the link to the street racing forum?. There is not really a need for that. If you want to go to the SR forum its 3 clicks away. I don't think that a direct link is needed.

maybe tats version except JDM swap instead of just SR so that would cover the RB, SR, and CA

Yeah Divinding this into more than 2 forums would be a waste of time. having a KA and SR section would be lame too since noone here really asks indepth enough questions to need an SR or KA specialist. plus I think it would make it harder for me to make fun of the KA's unJDMness.


1) I really dont think it needs to be divided at all I mean - think like a noob. "hey I wonder where to post my question about which motor is more JDM 1337 the KAZ4DET or The SR24DET? well... I've got every issue of Super Street so this must be something that not everyone knows. I'll put it in advanced." Both those motors Exist by the way

2) Noone here Including myself really knows that much about the RB series besides pointing them to the Mckinney kit. so that Forum would be filled with one post long threads

3) Nobody on here Rocks the CA and even if they did its closely related enough to the SR or RB for the knowledge to be universal.

4) I think its pretty obvious that "the great mod banning of 2005" was an April Fools Joke and you guys got Stallowned.

and i like mynismos idea. We dont really need all this broken down too specific. KA and SR are most common so those would be needed. But suspension tech really is not needed, that could be talked about in the general tech section, along with lsd's, wheels, brakes, etc. Then the ka and sr would have there own section for obvious reasons, most common things done.

yea we cant separate all the engines into different subs it will get to be a hassle we should keep all engines together

I think it would be nice to have a suspension sub-forum, where people can discuss track/drift/drag setups, tires, coil overs and discuss parts (roll cages, shock and where to get).
I think it should be like this

JDM Motors-includes SR guys and swap info for SR,CA, RB maybe VG
General Chat (optional, don't think it is that nessesary-SP*)
