when they say the F1 is not in production anymore. it means they youc an't buy them new anywhere. cause they no longer make them hence the name "no longer in production".

the Dauer is the fastest street legal car in the world right now, but it isnt classed as fastest because it wasnt a "production" car, like the McLaren. A cetain amount (cant remember the number) have to be built for them to be fully classed as production, and Dauer never built enough, McLaren did. Cant wait to see if the Bugatti Veyron will beat the Dauer(which started production in 1994 and i think finished only a couple of years later)

And as for the outright fastest car in the world? i would imagine Thrust SSC would take some beating

Skylines are fast, but they're not the fastest. The GTR may be one of the fastest street cars in Japan, but not the whole world.

Don't get me wrong, I love Skylines and own one but there are faster cars out there.
