Heck, I've been here as long as most or almost like OZ, Hogie, and more and yeah, i know how it goes. I was gone for almost a year comin and goin makin like 50 posts total a year. I got busy and had an insane life.

Of course I miss the people who have left, expecially replicant 'cause when I firts joined, I used to read all of his threads. they were just so cool.

But yeah, the n00bs, what can ya do. It's not so much all n00bs (I made a thread about this in AFcomer's on MySpace) but it's the ones that just show up actin' like they've been here the whole time and know something when they don't.

What can ya do though? Nothing. Just get to know more people, perhaps make a few more contacts, and learn new things. Heck, i know I've made contacts and are finally meeting some. AFers. Dave's hookin me up when I come to NZ! w00t!

When I first discovered AF I was doing a sales job with tons of boring down time - so if I wasn't talking to customers I was online either looking up specs for projectors, receivers, etc. or posting essays on AF or Z28.com (but once I really got into AF I found it so much better - more global). Then I went back to school where they gave us laptops... ya hi - can you say MSN, AF, and bejewelled?

Now there's a real job in the picture where all my work is done on computer. Its so busy I don't have time to really read up and make worthwhile posts (I've never been the one sentance kind of guy here), and after 8-10 hours of looking into a monitor all day I don't even go near a computer when I'm at home.

Plus with summer coming I think a lot more people are eager to go out and start driving their cars instead of just yapping about them - I know I am. Hopefully this will give me some neat stories to post in the street/track racing sections.
