Do you pay for your own fuel (highschool students...)

I'm looking at 50 bucks a week (aud) for fuel, I pay for it. But the worst I ever done was $245 in two weeks.

My thoughts on the subject are this: If you can't afford gas and insurance then you can't afford a car.

I worked it out, 1 gallon is 3.8 Liters.

At the moment, 2.27US is 2.87 AUD (x-rates.com)

I paid a dollar and 17 cents, $1.17 per liter for fuel last year once.

Time's that by 3.8 is over 4.4 dollars american per gallon.

So in affect, In Australia, we pay up to double for our fuel. Consider your self lucky mate. The prices haven't droped much, I filled up at $1.07 this morning, I put 51 Liters in my tank, and paid over 57 bucks.

The cheapest I've ever paid is 88.9 cents per liter. That's still over 2 bucks a gallon

I remember last summer when regular gas cost $1.52 a gallon, but then in about 2 days it went up to $1.80-ish. Now premium is at $2.30-ish

i got out of school 4 years ago and i had to pay for all of gas and car payment. i didn't have to pay insurence. but i also remember the gas prices being about $0.80 a gallon when i first started driving!

Parents pay for some gas and all insurance until I finish my masters, then I'll be making enough to take over. Right now I spend money on mods.
