Thank You,

I think I'm gonna go with the ZR2 rear with the 3:73 diff. There was issues as to where the springs would mount considering the 2in difference on either end. I got those guys cutting'em and welding them where they need to go so from there it SHOULD be as easy as legos. It looks like it's gonna run me $800 just for the rear end, not to include putting it in. Hope it's worth it

Re: Limited Slip questions

find out what gu number you need then check local j yards for the rear end, pulling it yourselfe will usually save big $$, and i didnt mean to sound like an ass earlyer, but here, you will get the answers that are the most simple and cheepest, ie sell your truck and get a 4x4, or the ones that you wanted to hear, even though no one else can figgure out why you dont do it the other way, a 4x4 would defenetly be easyest, but to do the reare end, if you get the full rear end from your compatible year truck, you should be able to unbolt then bolt back up

You do realize that the zr2 rear is about 3-1/2 wider than the normal 4x4 rear don't you? You're rear wheels are gonna stick out a lot.

I know that it's gonna stick out farther but, What the Hell. I could always put on extended fender flares and call it good.

Gonna look silly with the front tucked. Why not just get a regular 8.5 4x4 g80 rear instead?

If you look at it, the front wheels stick out about an inch and a half wider on each side than the rears.

I had 1.25" spacers (total of 2.5" wider) on my rear wheels and they were still tucked in the fenders. The width w/spacers actually looked identical to the width of the front wheels. Another half inch on each side (3.5") would look fine.
