i had a suprising battle, didnt expect it at all, it was in the nurburgring 24 hour race, (done by myself), i was using the Falken nissan skyline gtr race car and me and the alfa romeo 155 touring car where battling from the word go, it took 6 hours to get any kind of good gap, (11 seconds), pretty much was that apart from the pit stops where it would open and close accordingly to eachothers stops, on the 18 hour mark, i pitted in and he got past me, i had a bad lap and lost hell of a lot of time, i spent the next 4 hours catching him up, he pitted as i got closer and i overtook him only i needed to pit as well so at the end of that lap he got back in fron but only by 5 seconds, stayed like that for 3 laps, we both pitted in at the same time i didnt care about fuel as soon as my tyres where on i hit X and got out ahead of him, got another decent gap up to 30 seconds or so, he closed it to 10 seconds near the end, i pitted just before him and went from super hards to medium and hard, i think it was hard front medium rear, and had the best 2 laps of the race, got over 40 second lead and smashed the lap record, it had been 7:07:337 for over 11 hours and on the last lap after 24hours i made it 7:01:001.
Was a fantastic race and i would do it agen!!
This is sad but at the end i stood on my chair and played the national anthem of england
