Lol

That would be awesome..what was nissan on when they made that? and why didnt they send me one... anyways the soarer at one time was made Twin Supercharged by Blitz Blowers not sure if it was manufactured that way but it was on the toyota site in japanese. I think overall the Nissan should be the dominate car company over there? I mean putting out so many cars with Power Potential...why is toyota so dominant? I dont get it with Nissan having the 240Z 240RS 280Z 260z(or SX?) 180SX(whole Silvia series S13,S14,S15) Skyline series starting in the 60's....(Silvias in 60s too) 300Z 350Z R390(i think thats the name of that crazy super car) but some of those cars are crazy old. I mean only cars i know of with history behind them is Supra and Celica and Trueno(AE86) for the Toyota boys... even though they are dominant in the Indy series.

Re: Never Thought It Would Happen

yea thats what i was saying...they make more of the econo drivable cars for cheap...and they run forever apparantly. Toyota that is. hmmm it sounds like youv been playin gt4 alot lol. That game is sweet. And just incase you want to experience a drive in a 1960's skyline..play the game lol its crazy rediculous funny. I do admit the game is pretty cool though for a game that is. They added some tuner companies...that have the super jdm tyte stage 5 turbo kit!!!!! wow an sr with a stage 5 in a 96 s13 240....yea they call it a 240?!?!?!? i was like wow now thats dumb. The 96 part i understand but 240??? i mean if your going to americanize it...give it the ka. But its a cool game and the cars look good. My 240 is rocking my dream super advan black and blue rims. Guess what they were only 500 credits lol i wish it was that simple.

EG's are tight. i know a guy with a fully built SOHC motor that runs 11.05 or something ridiculous in the 1/4. it sounds sooooo mean. and yeah you HAVE to stay away from any kind of bodykit on those cars in my opinion.

Re: Never Thought It Would Happen

Yeah, I don't care much for drag times, I just want a fun street car, but yeah, the Toyota Soarer is the Lexus SC300/400/430. And yeah GT4 is fun, but they said they would have body mods...I can't even get a carbon fiber hood!!! All they have are gay ass wings. And like every version of the game, the wheels are all to damn small, I can't believe you can't adjust the size. Oh and even though I like the EG6 alot, I think the new CTR, the EP3, I believe, is really sweet, There was this one I saw in a magazine, white with bronze TE37s, it look totally badass, and btw, I wouldn't turbo the Civic, they seem better in a high-revving NA version, but that's just me.

Plz clear that up for me.
And yea toyota does dominate over there, isnt because they mostly have cheap little econo cars though? I mean nissan does too, but they also have alot of more "sporty" cars than toyota dont they. I mean there's a million different versions of every nissan. I would like to have a nissan stagea lol that is the ultimate wagon family car/ grocery getter. An rb26 in a wag...thats bad ass. Super sleeper stylez.
ah... it seems like i have failed to mention the sc. I thought i already mentioned it. It's not like i'm interested in toyota's... but i know b/c my dad had the 81 soarer Z10 back in japan after he got rid of his mark II. It was the first inline-6 dohc since the 2000gt (the white coupe that resembles the old Z's?) and i remember him telling me he bought tires that were too wide for it and had to replace it later... hahaa...

my fault.

and yes, toyota dominates due to economical reasons but think about it... majority of the people in japan buy cars for practical use... not every high schooler has one (like the states) so it's harder for them to sell sports cars unless we're talking about local racers / professional racers. I just had the image where we always see Hondas everywhere in the states.... so it's very weird you don't see any in Japan. I actually enjoy that different scenery... it's fukin' jaw-droppin' to walk down to the grocery and see a black gtr whippin by... or a silver S15 at a street meter parking... sigh...

any car can look good if the owner isn't a dipshit. EG6's can definitley be made to be VERY good looking, very quick cars. i like them when they're done subtly and clean, like the one in that article. i'd do a gunmetal one, carbon hood, all-orange corner markers, bronze CE28N's, with a black front lip and black rear duck-bill spoiler, and something mean under the hood.

as for that Weld S14, that is probably my favorite tuner car at the moment.

the SR20 has been moved back a foot so that the block actually sits a bit of the way into the firewall. the v-mount is right in the middle of the hood, and is fed by a huge reverse-vent scoop in the hood. and that hood? clam-shell. the hood, tops of the fenders, and headlights all swing forward. and because the engine is so far back, the windshield actually swings up in order to provide full access to the engine.

the exhaust runs THROUGH the passenger compartment. the car is RHD, so the piping and cat right along the left-hand side of the transmission hump, and exit out the left side of the car through a hole in the fender under the 1/4 window. the shift KNOB is in the same position as regular, but since the actual point where the linkage enters the transmission has been moved back a foot, the shift knob is connected to an arm that is connected to another shifter a foot back, which activates the linkage.

oh, and the rad is in the trunk.

absolutely spectacular car. what magazine is that article in? i want to learn more about the car.

Re: Never Thought It Would Happen

Hey 17 is hot, lol, anyways, the shifter isn't at the same place, they pushed the whole seating position a foot and half back, the seat, pedals, steering wheel, and shifter.

Re: Never Thought It Would Happen

it was a 98 but they did custom headlights from Sun Auto Powerview... i guess the company only makes zenki HID's, it mite also be easier for the clamshell hood...
also the shifter is adjustable so the driver can have it right where they want it...

read the article at work... hid in the dairy fridge and got it after logik mentioned it... workin at a grocery store can be fun
