Did you guys know that they still make Hummer H1s? And that the new model ( 05 ) has a option on a supercharger?

Re: H3 hummer announced!

I like the Navigator. My neighobors (who have one) actually use it like a real truck. They use it to haul horses around...it definatley gets used..

I'd take an H2 for free, sell it to a jerk and buy myself a fleet of decent vehicles with the money.

R32 Skyline GTR [and spend a few grand turning it into a GXi-badged sleeper]

Toyota Hilux 4x4 double cab Ute

Yamaha jet ski

and the change, I'd blow on something frivolous.Like some 'y's and 'o's for your post.

Luxury rides that over-ride the crumple zones of conventional cars...........

I'd have a REALLY hard time saying no to a Dodge Ram SRT-10 though. I'd be forever finding things to tow. I'd take an H2 for free in a second and then trade it for a Grand Cherokee, an Integra Type R race car and an aluminum trailer. At least the Grand Cherokee is remotely tasteful (Actually damned nice), so basically for the price of an H2 I can have my cake (A proper SUV, instead of a Tahoe in an ugly frock) and eat it as well (A thrills-car).

I would take a H2 for free, and trade it in for as much beer as possible

For luxury SUV's i like the denali. But i would sell and H2 if i was given one. Then i would buy an SRT-10.

I would actually take any Land Rover. They're like my favorite SUVs in the world. The Defender, the Freelander, the Discovery, the LR3, the Range Rover, love them all. Great capability without sacrificing luxury and power.

Luxury SUV, either a Yukon Denali XL, or a Range Rover or Discovery.

But aboutnHummers, I hate Hummers. I think they're ugly, and just not worth their money. I don't doub their off-road capability, it's just overall, I don't like them.

My other choices would be a Jeep Grand Cherokee, the classic Cherokee, Audi All-Road, VW Toureg, Porsche Cayenne, or the Mercedes G55 AMG.

I also can't wait for the Range Rover Sport, with the Supercharged Jag V8 in it.

Re: H3 hummer announced!

the mercedes G is also a sick machine. i overlooked it. I'm not big on huge/expensive SUV's though, if I needed it, i'd get a new 4.0L pathfinder and be just as happy with all the money left over

Truthfully I'd take one, I dont know whether I'd sell it or not, with that much money i could throw it into my truck and still buy the 300M I want. H2's are too decent off road, Power Wagon is about the only one that'll beat it off road just for it's pure size and the tire option from the factory. When magazines compare it they say that that's it's only real spot to shine, just as long as my tie rod doesn't snap when I use 4Low.

Also, the new H1's don't have a supercharger option, the only thing added is the Alpha option, which makes use of the Duramax and Allison tranny, and a few different things like, stronger hubs and brakes, and a lot of badges.
