Re: Opinions on Speed Chip Upgrades

$1.89 here in pittsburgh for regular, $3.85 a gallon for Blueflame 115 octane... (couple of stations here carry it). Useless unless you're running a motor that can burn that hot...

We could just tell Bush that Canada had WMDs, and after he blows it up we can take their gas.

.....just kidding BlazerLT we like having Canada as a neighbor.

Damn! 20mpg? Is that highway in warm weather? Have you done anything to improve your fuel economy?

Well I have wires with 159,000 miles on them, (probably should change them one day) Sparkplugs are platinums with 59,000 miles on them, I have cleaned the EGR pintle, new gasket, PCV valve, new clean air filter, ran two bottles of AMSOIL performance Improver through and that smoothed the idle out...new tires, aligment, fresh tranny fluid, Castrol GTX, AC-Delco filter every 3K.

The motor is 100% stock with OEM parts I have made no modifications, figure the computer is set optimally so if it aint broke I don't fix it.

My driving is 40 miles each way to work, and I am on the freeway 99% of the time with the cruise on...it's winter and suspect things will improve when it warms up...but I am happy with her and will keep running it....
