Aghh shit ...seriously !!! Ya'll ruined my surprise.

I'm putting them on later this month ..so I guess I'll be the first guinea pig for B&G. i've done some research and have always gotten great vibes from people who are using B&G on their cars. Note that B&G makes components for other well known companies. I forget which ..

Will keep ya posted.
and thanks for ruining my surprise ..beyotches...hehe

B&G Suspension

I've had the B&G suspension kit(not coilovers) on my P10 for about 8 months now, they perform very well for a street set up. The lower the car nicely and tighten up the overall feel of the car. I special ordered them about a two years ago. It took about 10 months to get to me. Oh well.....But the wait was worth it, I feel the shocks valving and progressive springs are very well matched and provide a firm and very sporting ride. At first the shocks were a bit too stiff, but after the intial break in of the valving they are now perfectly settled. All B&G components are manufactured in Sweden, and my shocks carry a lifetime warranty. I too recently saw this "new" coilover system from B&G and was initially impressed. I would HIGHLY recommend this company, very good quality, and great reputation. I Believe alot of "tuner" companies contract B&G to manufacture springs for them. I would recommend my suspension kit set up for a street driven car, For the track a linear spring and adjustable shock combo would be preferable, So I guess you could go with the coilovers in this instance.

That's nice and all. But I'm a man of numbers, how much do the B&G's cost? I strongly believe in, "you get what you pay for", but I was very disappointed with the Tein's. Too bad H&R doesn't make a kit for our cars.

What didn't you like about them? Maybe I can help. I just made some adjustments to my TEIN's and my buddy who doesn't ride in the car all that much even mentioned how much better the ride was now.

Well, it's a little late, I sold them off. I had adjusted those things...god know how many times. I was never satisfied with the ride quality. Maybe is was because I've been spoiled and driven many H&R coilover equipped cars. My friend up here is the biggest H&R distributor for the Pacific Northwest. The H&R's always seemed to have the upper hand. He talked to the guys at H&R about a standard spring. I tried to be the guinea pig, but they gave the prototype set to someone in Cali.. Now there not going to make a U.S. H&R spring for the P10, they do for the P11 though, bastards. Surprisingly, in all honest, I like the G/C and AGX set-up better than my old Tein's.

OIC. So you had them on a P10. I didn't know TEIN made a kit for P10.

humm..my TEIN's seem to do the job for me. maybe it was something with the P10 and TEIN's that didn't just mix. who knows, I'm happy with em'

I'm using 14 clicks from full hard, but I think I'm gonna use 12 clicks from full hard now that I got a couple hundred miles on them to break them in.

You must have been adjusting Tein's in your dreams.

Tein DOES NOT offer a kit for a P10.

IF, somehow you did have Tein's on your car, they were not made for it which is why you had problems.

The B&G kit is around $1500 and can be found at www.carparts.com

Please note the picture is just a general one and rather old. As we can see from other pictures, the kits look a lot better now.
