However, the pre 1994 Mustang GT with the 5.0 was a low 14 second car.
Get an N.O.S. Noszle System and give him a run for his money.

Where are you getting that info from? The 93 Cobra was a mid 14 second car, the 5.0 LX was a high 14 second car and the 5.0 GT was a mid 15 second car.

Re: Type S V/S Mustang GT

The older GT's right after the 5.0's are pretty slow. I raced one on the eighth mile track and stayed neck to neck until the end...i think he won by 1 10th. Now the new body styles (not brand new but before the now retro) V6's would beat me. My friend had one with a short ram intake and exhaust and ran a 9.8 while i ran a 10.2. Well, that was his best run, but he averaged at about 10.1-10.2 in the eighth. Very surprising considering i thought i was going to tear him to shreds.

Good Grief, you're bringing up some bad memories.

I gave my deposit to the dealer and ordered my '05 GT base package.
When I go to pick it up 7 weeks later the a**hole dealer tells me some random guy offered him $28,000 U.S. and wanted me to start bidding.
I told him to f*ck himself, and the dealer finally gave me my deposit back 3 weeks later.
I should have made him sign a contract for the purchase price.

Sorry, 5.0 crate engines cost under $3,000, hence the low 14 seconds. The only people I've seen with untouched original engines don't even know how to open the hood.
