Re: 29' Ford Rat Rod (modded)

Hey,

Um...It looks 80's with the back tires sticking out. Are you keeping it like that? More pics of the engine work please. I am intrigued. Keep up the great work.

Frank X.

The front wheel covers look like they are off of a '64 impala ?

You did a great job on the engin , very detaild ! How did you make the fuel filter ?

You did a realy good job on the rust for it being you`r first time ! You do need to wether the paint though , you could try testors dull coat .

Added more rust to fenders. And two pics of the engine in better lightning.

Front wheel hub is from 64 impala if I recall. And fuel filter is some electronic piece.

This was on hold for a while.
Anyway, pics.

New door is glued to closed position. Old red door will hang because, the
lower hinges so rusted.

I made the bed like it could be lifted with that airpump.

Furried backwall. And red backwindow.

No floor at all. And a screwdriver in cupholder.

Nice!, but why did you but the carb in front of the turbo?
This will make the turbo pass an air/fuel mixture.
This setup isn't very usefull in cold weather, doesn't make much power and you can't use an intercooler.
I would have converted the whole engine to EFI.

Meh, just kidding, nice work!

That`s the beauty of modelcars; you can build stuff that doesn`t work in real life!

That set up would work in real life , just not as well as a blow trough set up.
