hmmm trying to remember 7th grade home economics....ehhh brain hurts now. but I think this is how it goes....

hair spray for ink
peroxide for blood
GoJo (or any other hand cleaner) for greasy/oily things

Let the stuff soak into it, and blot don't rub.
another thing is not to dry it in a dryer until you are satisfied with the results of cleaning it, because using a dryer will set the stain and it will never come out.

Dry cleaners anyone? That's the best sure fire method. If they can't get it out, neither can you.

Use what Kate(Sex_Angel) mentioned. It does wonders on the horse's blankets. I used it on some old back up ones so I can put them on my bed cause the house is so damn cold at night and during the day for that matter.

he is right. also use cold water to wash it out. if you use hot water, it will make it harder to get out.

get an old shirt and see what happens, I never dealt with it on colors only on whites, well if it was on colors usually it washed out in the laundry

You should always have peroxide in the house, as a first aid tool...although some people I know just keep a bottle of vodka on hand to kill germs and pain. Usually you can just buy peroxide in the store brand...read the active ingredients though cause sometimes they trick you and its a mixture of things rather than pure peroxide

Re: Getting Blood Off Clothes

It's funny how noone mentioned OxyClean. Just add a spoonful to the load.
