Im particularly after the Tamiya one as i actually own a 1982 model rx7, just want to make a replica of it, plus you cant beat the detail tamiya has over the other brands as most of you guys will know. I already have the sa type model (trying to get the whole rotary collection). once i can afford and find an r100, rx2, rx4 (they do exist somewhere) ill have all the ones im after, i have managed to find the cosmo, rx3 coupes, rx5/cosmo, s1 rx7, s4 rx7, s6 rx7, 787b. As you can see im a rotary fanatic!! lol They are going to be displayed around a rotor, still working on how im gonna display them properly.

On the contrary, the board concensus was that the Monogram kit of the SA was better detailed than the Tamiya SA, with engine detail to boot.

The biggest selling point of the Tamiya FB is that it's the only FB kit.

Therefore, the best FB would be a Tamiya shell on the Monogram chassis/engine.

But I actually used the electric motor in my FB. Neat consolation gimmick, IMO.

As a rotary fan, you probably already know about Eric's (erix7) RX-7 model page...

Yeah! In the meantime, mine is here:

I never did put side mirrors on it. The kit parts sucked HARD.

edit:
Examples of Monogram's SA are here and here:

NICE MODEL>...very very jealous!!. yeah the mirrors do suck a bit in the kit, with my kit, i ended up plugging up the hold on the quarter panels, and moving the mirrors back on the door where most rx7's are, just didnt look right on the quarter panel

Ill definitely post pictures up when finished, but please be prepared to WAIT! its going to take 5 yrs to finsh them all!!!!
