No it depens on your boost level Jayson runs 4.5 psi so it would give him about 50hp minus the 15hp to drive the s/c! so he's running about 185 at the crank and about 145-150 at the wheels.

Re: How Many People here have the GM Supercharger?

do you realize that the kit is only 2k and it comes with a computer reflash so that it runs "right" the kit comes with everything you need for 5k i could have a turbo setup and be running in the 11's

people dont understand the price of things around here i didnt have a problem with putting a 2k supercharger on a cavalier sense i only paid 1k for the car .....

Re: How Many People here have the GM Supercharger?

yes the kit is only 2,000. It makes 190-200HP at the crank. Its a complete kit. The computer gets reflashed so it can handle all the extra air coming in. It comes with bigger fuel injectors, 310CC i think. Bigger Fuel rails, the mounting harness, the belt, the intake manifold already attached, all the cables and hoses you need, even comes with a little stick to put on the inside of your gas door that says "Premium Fuel Only". Its the most complete kit ive ever seen. When you add up the cost of all your little cheap mods, you will be in the range of the supercharger but with 1/3 of the HP if your lucky.

Re: How Many People here have the GM Supercharger?

190-200hp at the crank almost equal that in tourqe

nothing to make fun of when if you got a manual you can run a mid 14 and high 14's with an auto, thats with a completely stock engine and car

Thought you didn't like turbos?! Anyhow you aren't urunning enough boost to be a real FI guy! You say boost is addictive but a four year old blowing through a straw exerts more pressure than 4.5 psi. You say 'i can switch the pulley' but you haven't and haven't said you even plan too! You need to get over yourself. You have done a mod that costs less then a good bodykit and paint! And I believe I remeber you busting about bolt on and more or less being useless but, HELLO! What is your S/C! It's a bolt-on. all it entails is switching the intake manifold with the s/c attached. For the same money in what you can bolt on I woudn't be far behind!!! When you run some real boost then OK! You go on about it like your a REAL racer but your not are you? I'm not trying to rile you but you a pissing off lots of people and you are running high 14's! Holy Superspeed batman! I can ride a bike 1/4 that quick! Stop slagging everythjing that isn't what you have off!

Re: How Many People here have the GM Supercharger?

hey stop acting like a little bitch. And ive stated many times i plan on getting the pulley updated, just not in this forum, whats the point?
Right here bitch, thats the pulley im buying as soon as i get my tax return.
http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.m...y_Code=GPUNDER
ill be 6-7 PSI douche bag.

heres the number to place thats going to install it

I never said i dont like turbos, all i said is i like superchargers more.

Get off your little pathetic wanna be cool guy. Your a little poor bastard with no money for mods but talks as if he has it all. And do i care how much i spent on it? No, a good body kit and paint job, god how the fuck can you even compare the two? And when did i bust on bolt ons? Oh yeah when all those 2200 2.2L guys come in here thinking a intake, exhaust, and header will give them some kind of performance gain, i tell the truth. It doesnt. The 2200 engine already flows very well, those little extras wont do anything. Id like to see you make your car a 14 second car with bolt ons, but i doubt it will ever happen. More than likely you will just talk and talk about doing it, but never will. Who ever said i was trying to be a real racer? I mod my car cause i like to. I like taking it down to Milan Dragway and racing it on fridays test n tune. I like street racing my car. I love the fact that it performs really well. I dont mod my car to impress you or anyone. FI is addictive, its very fast and noticeable power gains, and with little money it becomes even more powerful, once you made the initial investment power comes cheap.

You wanna act like a little 12 year old and start shit with me, go ahead. But im done talking to you.

You really are a dick! If you read my post properly you would see that I was proving a point as you f*cking slam everything everyone says on this forum and act like you know everything about motors! You don't though. I wasn't the one being a little bitch and was setting you straight because you were! I've had my car about 8 weeks and it's the dead of winter here! So to have done much more would have been hard as when it's -25 you don't really fancy working on a car! Ican go and get a $-41 2.3 HO and drop it in gfor about $400 CDN and instanly be runninf 190hp! Oh hello that's more then you and with the bolts on even after your pulley I'll still be ahead of the game. So I can run a car with about 230 bhp for about $1200 CDN or about $970 US I could absolutely ruin your car! Hmm that sound better to me. I can school you on this shit all day long! With the other $1030 US I could then go skim the head and switch out the pistons for higher cop pistons. Result about 250 bhp. Lets see you make that!

Okay but before it does, is the GM SC only for the 2.4? or do they have one for the ecotec too?
