yea I got a sound system to connect it with. Got a Sony 5.1 dolby surround sound w/ monster cables connected to the xbox, which I will use as my DVD player. My room is so small I might not hook the dolby home theatre system to it though. I don't want to get analog if it's goin to become obsolete in 4-10 years down the road, I want something that will last for awhile. So i'll just spend a lil extra and get HDTV, also my xbox games will look really clear
. I guess though if i connect my xbox to it, I'll have to buy a wireless card for xbox live, which will set me back another $85

I got a 36" Panasonic flat CRT with composite input (non HDTV) for 600 bucks and it works great. I thought about getting an HDTV compatable but... this one was on sale so. Match that with a DVI to component video adapter and I have my tv computer running at 1024x768. looks fine. Optical out to my reciever and Bose 301s in the front and 151s in the back... just need to get a sub. the 8's in the 301s are about to there limit.....
Definitly CRT for me though... But it's got to be completely flat.

Me and my hubby was looking at getting a 42 inch plasma. We found one for $2,000. We ended up with a 60 inch mitsubishi television. I wish I would have went for the plasma. They take up less room, and you can see them from a side view. Our 60 inch you can not see too well from a side view. The picture goes dark. Though I love the surround sound.

plasma *droools*. I don't think I'm getting the samsung TV anymore. I'm going to move out this summer, finally getting away from my parents. My future roomie (hopeffully) suggested I hold off and buy a bigger one in the summer. So I will probably end up doing that

Dude, I just got my 20" plasma in today, and I bought a 32" wide screen digi yesterday!! I'm fuckin excited!! got my 5.1 500 watt system hooked all up to the receiver, all digita, pictures clear as HELL. sooo sexy!
