Hey Ronald.........yeah was just refering to preparation work on the body. Before priming, painting etc, the mold lines are usually sanded away first.

Cheers, Mike

Hey Mike united,
Now you say it there is a line from top to bottom of rear bumper. I thought this belongs there, but now its to late to remove it.
For the next time I know what to do.
Thanks for your comments.
By the way I looked to your photoalbum at photobucket.com and you have nice couple of cars. Your cars are realy finished with great paint job. How do you get the paint so shining.

Re: Subaru Impreza WRX 1999 hot street version

1. No Nismo on Subaru's, Nismo is Nissan only
2. Is that Tamiya Pearl Light Blue?
3. What does Japanese Style muffler mean?
4. Using the Stock Spoiler Parts is "interresting"
5. Are those 1:18 GTR rims?
6. Can we have chassis pics?
7. A dual exhaust is piontless with one downpipe, unless you added a second, and this Subis is twin turbo, then its okay

Hey,

Yeah, it is YOUR model after all. If you like it keep it. I(we?) are just questioning you b/c we are not accustomed to seeing leftover pieces here and there. I think it is cool how you can find a way to use the left over pieces on your model. Kinda reminds me of lego kits. lol
The nismo parts intercooler....eh..as a subie guy it doesn't fit for me. Now if you were to paint up an STi or SPT logo on it, then I'd be all for it.
Again, your model, your choices. Keep up the great work. It still looks good to me. Hope to see more interesting stuff from you.

Re: Subaru Impreza WRX 1999 hot street version

everyone is commenting on nismo intercooler because nismo specializes in nissan. just like mugen is for honda. maybe you should try some unbiased companies like blitz, greddy, spearco, etc.

Nice, I like it.
Panel lines would help make it look more real

-1. oke now I have intercooler for subaru (Sorry for all those Nissan lovers, I will never do it again)

-2. yes it is Tamiya Pearl Light Blue
-3. Japanese Style muffler means: see picture below. This is how we call it in the Netherlands

-4. using stock spoiler is different than you normally see on subaru's and I wanted a different look.

-5. rims are GTR scale 1/24 Auto Pro shop

-6. -7. chassic pic. The pipe is splitted after the silencer and then to duel japanese muffler

in the real is possible too see picture below

Re: Subaru Impreza WRX 1999 hot street version

I can dig. The rear bumper looks cool, and I like the two circular things and the twin exhaust. Overall, a very cool model. I can't wait to see your models as your skills grow.
