Yikes!

From copartfinder. Looks like all that's left are two undeployed Airbags.

Ah, I didn't know Andy was with you. that explains why the black paint looks funny in the picture (unfinished fender).

BTW, your copart pictures aren't showing. See you in a few minutes!

$1600 at the only place I checked (but they're expensive). I can get a unpainted door from Nissan without glass, locks, etc for under $500.

does that include the coating over the metal, or is that just the raw metal?

I wonder how difficult it is to swapp all the components off a current door onto that new door. can't be that hard right??? hmmm...

I'm not quite sure. I think it just has the black coating over it, but I imagine it will have to be prepped nonetheless.

I'm still planning on getting the components done by a shop. People I've talked to says it would take a day+ for me. Normally I would give it a shot, but I want the damn thing back to normal so I'll probably pay the $$$.

(BTW, did you guys notice I moved this thread from the photos and merged it with my damage post? Pretty snazzy huh?)

$1,600 buck is still REALLY, REALLY, high for a freaking door, prep and paint. $1100 for that much paint and labor is an outrage. They could probably paint and prep the door in under 2 hours (not including drytime) at $70 per hour for labor. I would definitely shop around. Aren't the frontier doors the same as the Xterra's?

Thumbs up The Schludmobile is back!!!

Got it back today. They did an excellent job and took out some of the extra scratches I had on my truck. And here I just got used to all the natural pinstriping on my truck.

Anyway, glad to have it all fixed. It almost felt like the first day I bought it.

We're in a drought here and the city gets it's water from well water. If we use too much water they charge 4x the cost.
