Not sure. It came with small black springs for the front, but I ended throwing all that in the parts bin and making shocks from aluminum tubing and wire for the springs. The ride height was set using the wire springs, compressed until I felt it was just about right, and then supergluing the inner tubing to the outer in the shock.

Nope, although in hindsight (due to the satin plating being removed here and there because of my rough handling) they probably should have been...

Hmmm, gotta check mine now. With my S15 with active suspension, it came with functional springs set up so you can actually push the model down and it will come back up. The down side is that it came with 18in wheels and with the body on the chassis, there is no more room for movement. I'll take some pics of Skyline soon and show you what I mean.
