Its getting busy here. Just on a 10 minute break. I am lucky that I know a lot of the people there, and one of them gave the managers a good word about me.

About 10. The other members from my team who applied didn't get interviews. There were 3 others on the short list, probably help desk people.

Hope so...I would be so over the moon.

I have a 8250, but I wouldn't go out and spend lots on a phone, cause they always get problems after a while or so anyway.

I tend to steer clear of Ericsson's cause they are so easy to break. I don't like the menus on Motorolas, and the nokias are the easiest to use.

don't like panasonic menus either.

Sim only plan is an option if you don't make many phone calls. It may get expensive if you do make a lot though

I was with Optus analogue and then went telstra then vodafone.

I wouldn't go optus digital, cause the reception where I live is crap and has been for the past 5 years, and hasn't improved a bit. Main reason I'm with voda is cause I'm on a corporate plan.

Nokia has 8310 now..but too expensive.

lol - Telstra reception in my unit is a joke - it either flips between one of 3 locations or drops out completely

My contract has run out and the 3210's battery is shit - it always has been but I'm only getting 36 hours standby out of it and a phone call kills it.

I want to replace it, but I don't want to go onto a plan again - I'm going to look at Optus and Vodaphone again and see whats on offer.

Stoopid mobiles - I lived so well without one way back when
