Re: T-top

posting a pic of my car would be perpetuating the stereotype of what a sig on the camaro forum should be, and i dont conform very well.

in reality, i just dont have any recent/good pics of my car on my comp right now. ill see if i can get something going after i go home for the weekend...

Re: T-top

Yes, for the record so as to avoid flames, he's stated numerous times that it's not his car
Also think bout it... there's an SS in his sig, so why would his nick be z28...

When it came time for me to look at F-BOdy's t-tops were the first and foremost requirement. As much as I like convertibles I actually dig the T-op (or vette targa) more just for the piece of mind you've got something over your head if anything ever falls or you flip over... lol

But they become a bitch when you fill the back hatch with subs. I've found a pretty decent way to place them on the folded down backseat - there's a small dip between the very back of the folded seat and the suspension hump which the latch side of the tops fit right into. This keeps them from moving forward, problem is one of the tops always has to overlap the other a bit and thats the one that goes flying sideways when you take a quick turn (and scratches the bottom top thank you very much). I ususally lay something down between the two tops for protection and a bit of stability.

I've even left them at home a few times in sunny weather but after my last close call with a friggin monsoon they stay onboard all the time.

Re: T-top

i love targa tops. in my opinion there's nothing cooler. i cant really stand the convertable camaros. i think they are so horribly ugly with the top down, the 4 and a half gens look like sebrings to me with the top down.
