dang dude that sucks...

If i can find this video this guy rents a Corvette Z06 and hides the NOS...he hides it so well these guys check his car find the NOS line and then look in the trunk and everywhere and its no where to be found and he cons them into racing him for money...the Stock Vette with NOS smokes some heavy modded FireBirds and Mustangs. Anyways to the topic i think ill just calll them Pusstangs and Slowmaros and FireChickens and 5.Slow works.

Re: They need a name too...

I saw a Mustang today when I was out with my friend so I revved my engine, did a burn-out and then the car crapped out when the light turned green. You all know what car I'm talking about, and I'm serious.

Re: They need a name too...

I don't consider 240sx's rice at all. Honda, yea damn straight, and i think its just the non stock parts people put on the car. Like if i saw a 240sx with a 3' spoiler, NOS stickers everywhere, half a body kit, yea its rice. I hate mustangs, but don't mind vettes or camaros. But, my dad is a huge muscle car freak so that is probably why im not bias.

exactly, as long as you can feel the line, its there. thats something you can't hide. if they can't even find a line your car, then how are they goin to say you have nitrous?

Re: They need a name too...

I know a guy who has his dry system pretty well hidden. Like the stealth suit in MGS, it can "Visually decieve the enemy," Eh, its like a 88 chevy S15 blazer with a 4.3 vortech engine. Whats more of a sleeper? But it runs a 12.78 or so with the nitrous, so...

How about Domesti-ricers? Domestic ricers? My dad is a huge muscle car freak too. Thats why I am so biased. He thinks it isn't fast unless it has a V8 He does know a little bit about V8s, but he only sees black and white. put parts on, push the gas. He doesn't see the gray area, sizing parts correctly and tuning. For instance: he's using a 1050 Dominator double pumper with 50cc accelerator pumps on a NA 388cid small block. Runs super rich at idle. Fouls plugs more often than he runs it. I've told him for the past year to switch to a 750, but what do I know, I'm 18 and I drive a 4 banger.

Re: They need a name too...

Hell no. His car runs a 10.79 at 126mph. Its a full race Camaro. Tubbed, powerglide, 5500 stall converter, completely worked internal. It was built from the oil pan up using a Dart block. It is beefy enough to bore it to 454CID. Forged complete internals. Complete MSD igntion. 1" 7/8" primary headers. 13" wide slicks with a spooled Ford 9" well actually a Moser(sp?) carrier because the stock Ford 9" doesn't hold too well under a lot of torque. So no I don't race my dad. Its definately not street legal. With 276 degress of duration at .050" and .64" lift intake and roughly the same on the exhaust, its not exactly idle friendly. Suprisingly, he doesn't ever speed. And he's always telling me I should never go over the speed limit and warning me about street racing. IDK what his deal is.hahahaha

It runs on 93 octane too.

only 93 octane? thats kind of suprising, i've 93 in the eclipse right now, she had 103 (i think it 103, or 105) a week ago, lol.

But yea, my grandpa is just like that, he used to to street race in europe back in the muscle car days, so, imagine a muscle car on european roads. so yea, he totalled 2 Roadrunners, lol. 1 was in Europe, the other one back in the states. My uncle is the same way too man, he used to have an Eagle Talon TSi AWD. he unded up totalling it, he's stationed in europe too, but the crash wasnt his fault, some guy ran him off the road basically. now he has a right hand drive 300zx TT, and he's always talkin bad about street racing, go figure

Yes, my dad had one like this, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6339

He built it up for along time, every dollar from his paycheck when he was younger to build it up. With bigger then stock tires, he could burnout for 300 feetm with no brake, just punching it, lol.

Re: They need a name too...

that actually a pretty sweet cougar.. throw in a 375 small block and you're gold.. and for the name you guys are looking for, you can't really flame the guys who tune cars like nissanfanatic's dad cause he's not doing anything stupid.. he's got the go and who cares about the show.. its the guys with cavaliers and neons that need to be flamed.. 'duster' in hockey sense means useless.. you could go with something like that

I hate cavaliers and neons...
(well, the new ones at least. I'm driving a '90 cavalier until I get my 200 fixed up!)
I don't really have much of a problem with domestics. Unless they start ripping on imports, and then I get pissed! But yeah, V6 mustangs and shit are so stupid. If you're gonna do it, go V8.
