IM not from Cali, i live in new york. Our emmissions are kind of close. I have a friend with a Drag turbo on his 1999 civic ex that passes emmissions easily. If you find a mechanic that will not just fail you because you have the turbo you should be OK. The turbo will not make you fail emmissions as long as you motor is in good condition. I you turn the boost down to about 6lbs you should be fine.

Does anyone know if a DRAG turbocharger is legal in new york?
