But... those looke more like the second set of wheels? I think the band of rivets on the first set is too wide, too purpose-built for racing, and the look of the rims suffers for it. [/atypical willimo comment] The color you're putting on it is the best color in the world! This thing is going to be hot, and I will be watching your EFI construction very closely.

Man thats cool! Almost bought a 70 back in 82.
Sometimes the projects just for fun are the best ones aren't they?

When I was younger, we had a '70 LeMans wagon with a 455ci. high output engine and other weird options on it. Some mechanic bought it sight unseen when the ad wa splaced in the paper based on the description alone. The front end was the same. I think the second set will probably go on. Thanks guys.

I had a 65 Lemans Cacnvertible myself, basically a GTO with a 326 and regular hood. I loved that hunk of junk

I got this one from ebay. I haven't been to boardwalk in a few months I think . Paint will applied tomorrow hopefully. Thanks for the interest.
