Re: President's inagural ceremony...

Right after this past election, I saw a bumper sticker on someone's car that said "51 percent is NOT a mandate!!!" I felt like slapping the person driving it and then grafittiing "...and 48 percent IS???" all over their back window. Whiners... suck it up. You lost fair and square. And to all of you democrats that aren't whining:

Cheney was the one who called it "a broad national victory'' and a "mandate'' for Bush and his policies. Rather than explaining the sticker's meaning, I'll just show you the larger version that you didn't see.

Yes I did vote for him and thats why I'm not a loser. The democrats were losers. Though calling a democrat a loser is being redundant.

Where did I laugh at democracy? I'm perfectly happy that imbeciles vote for democrats. And, if there are enough imbeciles to put on into office (see Ted Kennedy) then so be it. You're right about the shitload of taxes which is why I voted for Bush, so those taxes would be lowered. But, I'm sure you're paying a shitload of taxes yourself.

Now I generally think democrats have no idea what they're talking about, but I'm thinking G-Dubs/Homeland Security may have dropped the ball on this one...

For the record, I voted for Kerry. I despise Republicans every which way. I think that Bush Whacked jr. and Vice President Dick(less) are just a bunch of crooks, nothing but electorally voted in crooks. Oh and maybe the "supposed" popularly voted in crooks too.

As far as Kerry, I only voted for him, because I can't stand Bush. I couldn't stand his father, and I certainly can't stand George Dubya! As for Dick(less) Cheney, well.... Vice Presidents never really held too much in history, not more than maybe a footnote next to what the President in power did/didn't do, or in this case, really screwed up on.
And before anyone starts quoting statistics and figures that will never really add up, nor am I interested in hearing opinions or spin-based opinion/facts, I'm just going to say that the following, and this whole post, is MY OWN OPINION. I'm not stating it as fact, but it certainly fits the theories that I've been hearing.

So, let's start with the War in Iraq. Shall We?
Now, I'm all about supporting troops. Always have, always will. Heck, I've even thought about joining the military myself, but I have impaired vision, bad lower back, and flat feet that prevents it, not to mention a medical file about three inches thick, and that's just on my vision problems. Aside from all that, so we're in Iraq right. The Republican "PUBLIC RELATIONS" statement/standpoint:

"We are in Iraq fighting to stabilize a region and secure a place for democracy and freedom for the Iraqi people, and to promote liberty among their culture."

(OPINION) Real Reason: We are fighting in Iraq to secure our right to use and distribute their oil reserves before anyone has a chance to set up a contract with the Iraqi government. Fighting for freedom or fighting for oil? You decide!

Social Security. Here's a biggie! Both candidates talked strongly about social security and all that jazz.

Again the Republican Standpoint:
"We will strengthen social security for ALL Americans who will retire. Past, present and future generations must be able to access this government benefit, and it is our responsibility to save it, and to fix it. We must NOT let it run out. I have a plan to (do whatever they want do to with social security here)."

(OPINION) Real Standpoint: We could care less what happens to social security. It was never meant to be a permanent government benefit. Yet, we kinda like F*&king people out of their hard-earned money anyway, and making them THINK they will be able to get Social Security benefits when they retire, might as well use it for something. Hey BOB! What to go get a Blow Job tonight?

Tax Cuts! Oh this is another biggie. I think both candidates have touched on this one VERY strongly during the presidential race. Of course, every presidential race, this is always a big topic. WHY? Because I guarantee you that EVERY American hates taxes. But the real threat ISN'T THE PRESIDENT. It's Congress. Now, the following is not partisan specific, but for fun, I'm blaming Republicans, just because I hate their ideals and goals anyway. But for fairness, we'll just leave this as non-specific.

Politican: "And I will fight to help cut taxes and help YOU keep more of your hard earned dollars for you and YOUR family!"

(OPINION) Real thought going on in the politician's head: "F*%@ That!! I could use that money for my own campaign!! That money could be used to pay for everyone's lunch in Congress! Better yet, we could use that to just sit around in congress, do nothing, and still get paid by the TAXPAYERS!!!" *Laughs*

(OPINION) Another Thought: "There's no way I'm fighting to cut taxes. We need that money so that we can keep our asses in congress, even though half the time we don't do jack shit! Besides, the big corporations are where I really get persuaded!"

(OPINION) Yet another thought: "Tax Cuts, HA! Yeah right! I'd rather tax the hell out of them, even though we never really use their money for anything good. I think I heard one lady say something about using her money on Education. RIGHT!! Kids these days don't need
education. They are dropping out left and right anyway, and quite frankly, the school system sucks! And as far as funding for health programs, I don't care about anyone else's health, but my own. If these people want better health, they should run for congress!" *Laughs hysterically out loud while people watch her*

Here's another popular topic that I think came up a few times were tax hikes for the rich and wealthy. Again, nonspecific to political parties, but for fun, I blame republicans anyway since they now are in power.

Politician: "And for those who make over (x amount of money) will get a higher tax bracket than those Americans who don't make that kind of money"

(OPINION) Real thought: "YOU KIDDING ME? These guys are what sponsored my campaign, I can't just tax the hell out of them. Besides, 90% of them would just renounce their citizenship and move to Switzerland. Then we'd REALLY be F*%@ed!"

Education. Here's one that EVERY polician touches on at least once or twice in their campaign. If it's a presidential hopeful, you bet your ass they're gonna shove it down your throat. With women who have young children, this especially softens them up. And I don't blame them honestly. This is one of the top ten topics that can make or break a campaign when it comes to women voters. Once again, I blame republicans for all the education mistakes, especially in the State of Nevada, but for the interest of fairness (As WWE CEO, Vince McMahon likes to say a lot), we'll say it's every politician.

Politician viewpoint: "Education needs more funding, and as your (insert title here), I will fight to make sure funding is sent DIRECTLY to our public schools so that our children will receive a quality education. I will make sure every dollar is spent hiring better teachers, ordering new books and materials so that our youngsters will receive the highest quality education in the country!"

(OPINION) Real thought: "Those dollars will never reach those schools because I'll be too busy gettin down at the club spending that taxpayer money. What we really need is a $20,000 hammer, and a $30,000 toliet seat. My ass just doesn't feel comfortable on an average toliet bowl anymore. My ass is too good for it!"

Side note. Here in Nevada, at the high school I went to, which was Bonanza High School. Several years ago, in fact, one year before I would graduate, our principal had a class assembly in gym about receiving funding from the state, which received federal funding to help the school. She said it was something like $1.5M. I can't remember the exact figure. Well, I can tell you that instead of ordering new textbooks, or new materials for the classrooms, or MAYBE hiring new teachers, what they did was add a new wing on the school, give the school a couple of coats of new paint. Added fences and EVEN painted the F*&#King stubs in the parking lot (I honestly forget what they are called). So instead of using this funding to improve the school on the INSIDE, they used it to give the school a cosmetic face-lift, but to tell you the truth, and I still talk to students who go to the school, the school still has LOUSY teachers, save one or two that I know are still there. The football team still sucks ass. In fact, every major sport team of theirs sucks ass, except the womens teams. I will bet ya money if they made a womens football team there, they'd probably do better. Oh and speaking of funding for schools, I think I heard a few politicians, notably more republicans than democrats, but definitely both stating that they'd make sure schools would get funding for "After-school" programs. You know? The stuff for kids to do after school lets out so that they would not go out and get hooked on drugs, booze... or sex God forbid and get some girl pregnant. Yeah, and this never happens either.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the funding my school received was JUST AFTER we received our FRESHLY elected REPUBLICAN governor who, I might add, just after taking office had cut funding for another program that I was under for people with disabilities. I didn't know about this until I was being prepped (prepared) for major glaucoma surgery when I had been told that the funding for the program had been cut from $50,000 per year per client, to $10,000 per year per client, and that this was from the State Of Nevada Governor's office. So between the two, my parents had to fork over $650 that they really didn't have. It was our rent money, so our rent had to be given to pay for my glaucoma implant because some republican Nazi up in the state capital wanted his own private golf course! Yeah, now y'all know why I hate republican party. It's not such a friggin party now, huh!

My point is that no politician will ever really fulfill any promise they make. They make it sound like a REALLY good deal, just like a USED CAR SALESPERSON. Truth is, they stink, JUST LIKE A USED CAR SALESPERSON. Just like the theme song to a popular WWE Wrestler Eddie Guerrero, "They lie, they cheat, they steal" And that's EXACTLY what they do!

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Everything said in this post is all opinion. None of it is fact, well, except for my take on the politician viewpoints. I've paraphrased those, and the part about my high school and glaucoma surgery. Those were in fact true! If you feel compelled to quote statistics and "supposed" facts, feel free to do so at your own risk. However, I will not be replying to any of it. If you are offended by any of the aforementioned material, it sucks to be you, doesn't it? Bottom line, grow up and quit sucking on your thumb, and quit going to "Mommie" for help in understanding any of the material that was just posted. Sure am Yogs, but I don't have a problem with it.Because 1/...I get paid a shitload more than I need, 2/.....I know that if I get sick,or have an accident,or lose my job,my government will be there for me,and 3/.......I know that my government isn't wasting billions on killing foreigners just because it's dug itself a huge hole that it can't retreat from without severe [and much deserved] loss of face.

Hard luck olld fellow, neither party fielded a quality Presidential candidate this time round.Never mind only 4 more years of ignorance, arrogance, and erosion of your right to live in free and safe country.

It's not like Vietnam at all.

It's more like the crusades.

All I know is that the ceremony was $40mil well spent. You'd think in the face of all the deficit and the mounting cost of everything else he's got us in, every little bit would help.

Oh wait, he has a mandate. Nevermind.

Ok, but remember, more people voted AGAINST him than any president to win or lose an election. Ever.
