Sorry man, but unmatched body kits are one of the reasons so many people give imports a bad name. It looks more trashy than regular body kits that are matched.

well if you are..i dont have the money right now or time get it painted, and also it doesnt get driven on the road now so its not like its some big deal...

That's the thing-you had the money to buy the kit and the time to put it on, but you don't have the money and time to paint it and do it right so everyone just drives around like that for two years. I say make sure you have the money and the time to do it all at once.

OR, at least do a decent cheap job. Go to the paint store and get some primer, paint, clear, and try and match it good enough so if someone sees your car from 20 feet away it doesn't look like you got the parts from a junk yard or something.

haha damn guys stop getting your panties in a bunch, im going to be primering them black till i get the entire car painted...if you read the first post you would have seen that

and i would just get the kit painted, but since my paint is kind of faded and theres dings and scratch's all over it im going to wait, the car doesn't get driven on the road yet so you guy dont have to get all weird about people seeing a car witha non painted bodykit

Whats the big deal? His stock bumpers are black, so if the kit is painted black it's not going to be any worse. Looks cool so far man

my s 10 is dark blue and the body kit on that (well as of right now just the front bumper) is gray gell coat and it dont look to get painted for 3 or 4 months from now

the back bumper needs to be adjusted from the exhaust but other than that not bad. as far as the paint thing i dont think its too big a problem especially if your not driving it. i dont drive mine during the winter. it currently sits in primer black with a few spots unsanded bondo and this n that. itd be dumb to paint it now in the middle of winter with snow all over. so i bought a truck and put a tarp over the civic. the truck wont last past the winter at which point ill have the money to get the civic painted. to each his own. yes power is important and i plan to get a bigger engine but my car isnt all about power. i like the look more so. if i want power ill go and drive my monte with a fully decked out 350 that pulling 400hp. THATS power.

I think it looks good man, I cant wait til i get a new car to start workin on. My flat black 4 door is gettin old but i still love it, i just cant wait to start workin on another car.
