On the 2000, it is just below the alternator. It is shaped like an upside down pear and the hole to insert the 3/8 ratchet head is at the bottom.

Just for future reference, does anybody know what year they changed? It's under the alternator on my 98.

Can You Check To See If The Pull On The Old And New Alternator Are The Same Size. You My Have To Switch Them.

well i got it on the other day(took 2 people), it was tight though! working real good now. i had about 66,000 miles on it when the alternator went bad. i dont know what it should normally be but i'm sure the speaker system didnt help! thanks!
