Um, ya... check this - yesterday was a record braking 18 celcius or 64.4 degrees f in Toronto, and today its -12 celcius or 10 degrees f. Where's that global warming thread or freak occurances in nature thread... (I shouldn't be joking about that in light of the recent tsunami disaster but really our planet be doing some messed up things...)

Nah, I know inconsistent weather. Last year at the end of May it snowed about 2 inches and was freezing in the mornig, and by noon all the snow was gone and it was about 60.

Right now its bout 20F, it was about 5 with the windchill this morning.

Im near Denver, by the way.

Well to answer your question. The tsunami actually changed the rotational axis of the earth a very small amount which changed the weather a bit. It also brings warmer temps to ocean bordering areas due to the waves moving warmer waters north. Kind of makes you feel like "The day after tomorrow" a little.

My sister lives in Denver; from her description that's normal! I recall the storm of October 97, almost 3' fell. Then it all melted in 70* 3 or 4 days later.

Re: How cold is it where you are

It's 25 degrees F here right now...however with the windchill it feels like 14. We have VERY inconsistant weather here. 2 days ago I was outside in shorts, a tshirt, and flip flops cause it was like 65 and then like 3 hours later when i went out i had on a heavy coat, gloves, scarf and all that jazz....Kinda normal for things like that to happen in this area, its just kinda annoying.
