Re: Moding my 2003 Tiburon GTV6

Bad time to cut into this conversation but yeah if you want to talk about the best transmission i have to say my favourite is audi's dual clutch flappy paddle system that gives you more control than alot of Ferrari transmissions. But anywho Manual would be my preference when buying a car, i feel you don't have as much control in an automatic. But heh its all opinion

an auto might be faster on the top end but give me a car identicle to yours with a manual and i'll slap the shit out of you on the track. besides, how often do you really see anything over 100? if you say a lot then i'm glad i dont' live where you do.

You are so pathetic & so typical. And no you can't live near me because there are no trailer parks here! So go ahead with your dime-a-dozen honda-who the hell cares?

Re: Moding my 2003 Tiburon GTV6

I thought we were talking about which was superior manual and automatic. Correct me if i am wrong but on every stock car the manual would always be faster than its automatic sister. Even when putting the same identical mods on your car the manual is better. Its just when you get to that point were you have so much power you would need a hell of a manual tranny to cope with it. But with auto you can programme launch revs etc.

manual is not always better.... yeah itll be faster in the 1/4(if your shifts are decent) .. and get better dyno numbers (if teh clutch isnt shit)... so its not always better

I've been driving manuals for almost 20 years. And ya know, I just got tired of it. All the traffic, clutch jobs, etc. I don't race so so the few tenths or whatever don't matter to me. It's nice just to hit the gas and go...Guess I'm gettin' laid back.

I do agree that it is mainly about preference and yeah it is a pain in the arse while stuck in traffic or somethin having to clutch all the time. But heh i wouldn't give it up for anything.

Re: Moding my 2003 Tiburon GTV6

hahaha you guys are all asses you completely screwed up this guy forum hahaha nah im just kidding but it would help if we actually gave him some answers lol but w/e i think that both transmissions have their advantages and disadvantages... my first car was an automatic ... my car now is a manuel but if i had to choose which one i want it would be the manuel why is that u say??? because the automatic was a HONDA... but if i found an auto V6 i would have gotten that but i guess that chance is gone... and to answer your mod questions go to Nxtgenmotorsports.com they have some nice stuff nice intake manifolds, headers, and clutch upgrades........
