Guess what I did wrong!

I filled the wrong pair of windshield wiper holes!

I poked them back out and will fill the others after a bit of clean-up. I'm finding lots of sink-holes in the suspension parts...

Still looking for a good color for it. I only got one suggestion:

My choice would be red with gold rims
But I have too many red cars...

I'm kinda thinking of these two:

Dark Green Pearl & Slate Gray Metallic two-tone:

Rio Red:

What do you think?

I think the 2 tone is an Outback Sport, not sure what are the exterior differences except 2 tone color though.

No, it's from Japan. So they must have them like that, too. The red one is Canadian. But whatever to the JDM/USDM nonsense; I just want a nice color!

Which do you like?

I would go for blue or white! I have a soft spot for white Imprezas!

Green should never be seen, Red is too common and never suited Imprezas IMO!

White is not commonly seen on the wagons, it is more common on the sedans.

I like the green pearl but not in two tone (that just looks wrong) imo

LOL! On the good side, most of the chassis and intertior are done. I have the Subaru paint code(s) for my color choice and I'm going to track them down at an auto paint shop near me. So other than that, I'm in wheel hell!!!

I cut the tyres like I said, and the inner side walls are a bit choppy, but more or less ok... The tread pattern just looks a-symmetrical. No biggie.

The wheels themselves are the pain. Hasegawa's wheels are "male" and the Revell wheels are "female." So, I thought I could use a bit of plastic dowel (or toothpick, as is standard of wheel mods! ) in between the female Revell wheel and the female Hasegawa hubs. Unfortunately, that makes the wheels stick out to much. I guess the Hasegawa hubs are made to fit right up against the inner backsides of the wheels. So, I have to cut the little female nub off of the insides of the Revell wheels, but most of my tools are too big to get in there... :o So what I'm going to try is to use successivly larger drill bits to open up the hole until I've taken away all the wall around it. Then just stick the dowel stricht to the wheel backside, but really, I'll probably have to glue the wheels onto the hubs to keep them there...

Oh, yeah... the other thing I've been working on for it are the clear side markers... I want to make sure I can do them before I sand them off the body before painting.

I've been trying to cast them in model cement, but I keep getting too many bubbles. I thought I finally found a good use for the tube glue. Guess not; I need to go buy a thinner brand.
