I keep hearing this, "After all thats happened after Sept. 11th and what he's done" Ok, yes it was and still is a trying time for our country, but it is also a blessing for ANY man in the presedency. Al Bundy could be president and after Sept. 11th come out and say "This is unforgivable what these... terrorists have done to our country and the sword of justice will seek them out and destroy them! We must go on with our everyday lives to show terror that it has not won. WIth these three monkeys I will go home and eat jungle fruits! Oh yea, go america!" And after the first two lines everyone in the country would be cheering and up in arms. Look at Rudy G, and Bush. Lets see, both surrounded in drug contriversy now they are national heros! Now Rudy did a good job, I have nothing bad to say about him, this was his worst nightmare.
It remains to see if Bush will make too many bad desisions in the wake of this, and one of the tests is comming up. Anyone watching CNBC will have seen the document about our new atomic position. It outlines how nuclear weapons could be used on Russia, Iran, Libia, China and three other countrys. It also calls for the development of new kinds of nukes, such as bunker busters, and mini nukes. I think this is a VERY VERY VERY BAD IDEA! If we bring nuclear combat into war on an everyday basis we are opening the door to a large scale nuclier war. Think of this, how many movies have you seen that the reason for them being set in a post-apocalyptic world is that We launched, they launched, everyone died? Now this may be a bad example now that I think about it, but you get the gist of what I'm saying.

but i still think that if Al Gore was president, he wouldn't have done as good a job as Bush

and Dick Cheney is hardcore military... so he knows exactly what to do

Bush is a goof ball. He spent all of his life up to age thirty drinking and partying. then decided one day to go into politics. great idea huh? Gore is smart but has no personality, another wonderful candidate for the presidency. Personally I think that both weren't great candidates.
Oh and as for bush doing a great job in the last six months... If he didn't I would be really surprised. With the entire country going patriotic fanatically it would be hard not to have the countries support. And with the army of advisers that he has he better do well. (could anyone tell I am not a real fan of bush's government?)

Well, I may not like the guy, and I may have some personal differences with him, but when look at it objectively I think the job he has done is so so, I will admit that being president of the United States is a HARD FRIGGIN JOB!!! There is so much to attend to, people constantly pushing paper in your face saying Mr. President, Mr. President! I probly couldn't do it I'd crack up under the preassure Not to say that good ol' Recount Al would be doing a better job, god, there has to be someone out there worthy be being president!?
