Re: really tricked out civic
naah not that hard you take an H22a that comes as a 2.2 I4 engine that comes 195 horses, you throw on some Intake, Headers and Exhaust, Pulleys, Cam shafts(DOHC), Cam gears, fuel injectors, Fuel pump, and if you count atleast 5 horses average for each of those, thats atleast 80 horses to the fly added to the stock horses, then you add in a 50 shot Bottle, and you got a N/A 2.2 litre that makes more than 300 horses to the fly. PROOVED YOU WRONG HUH!!!
Hey u know sumthing? i used to hae a 1993 rolla too, and i remember my screen name bein the same thing on some website, i forgot what it was, i think it was a forum too. |

Re: really tricked out civic
^^ you are a moron.
just adding on mods and going "that's 5 hp each one, so that's 80 hp" is retarded. first of all, if that logic is correct, then it would be 40 HP not 80 (since you listed 8 mods, and 8*5=40) and unless you go to the dyno, your numbers are just an estimate. Whats is even funnier, is those 8 mods you listed, how much money does it cost for that? I can buy a $15 boost controller for my car and that will give me an extra 50 horsepower (-25% for drivetrain loss however) By the way, show me some proof of this 800 HP civic with a dyno sheet.

Re: really tricked out civic
i said HP to the fly, not to the wheels, i know to the wheels is only like 2-3 horses for each of the mods... and they got the new RSX I4 engine with 210 horses stock, with all them mods, ur tellin me u cant get it to 250 to the flywheel??? i have no clue on what basis you are argueing with.

Re: really tricked out civic
Gateway is arguing the fact that bolt-ons generally do not give you an extra 5HP each. Unless you have a dyno to prove it, I'm with him on this one.
I'm arguing the fact that if you're running a nitrous system, you're not N/A. So your argument that running a nitrous kit with bolt-ons gives you an N/A car is wrong. |

Not bad, but my probe wit da intake makes way more than that. I made the intake out of NASA material in my garage. My brother chuck yeager has races with me and loses. I own all ![]() BTW: alot of mods will actually cause you to lose power if you don't tune the car to take advantage of them (watch horsepower tv sometime) |

210 stock, that means the factory already put the mods on so you don't have to. If you have 210bhp stock, you give me the dyno sheet that says at the flywheel and we might shutup. But if you're pulling all your figured from various websites, you might be suprised they're talking about 5hp per mod engine ouput, which will be less than 2.5hp per mod. fully sick, my engin pulls 600hp, even my stickars give me about 6hp TO THA FLYWHEELE BRO, its fully sick as. my exhaust tip is 4ft in diameter and gives me 50hp. its fully sick mate. |

Buddy; ![]() Why are you insulting me, I was pointing out the fact that the manufacturers's figures of power are engine output, some do at the fly, but not often. The figure is always higher, but the fact is they boast one figure, you put that on a dyno sheet and get 30-40kw less than what the company has boasted, because they're claming a figure of engine output, it's common sense. |

![]() So yeah thats only 8 mods, and your mathematical genius would set that to 40 hp. Added to 195 would make 235. Add a 50 shot, and that makes 285. 285<300. PrOOved you wrong huh? also.. on an I4.. you add A headeR.

Re: really tricked out civic
All of those mods would cost a whole lot of money. You could save a bit of it by using a 100 shot instead of a 50.
