First off..
Brian doesn't make a dime from CF igor, I told you that over AIM. That all goes to supporting it. When Supercars.net left, so did Owen's paycheck, so he put the banners up topay for the board. The thing about CF.com is that its a family. I talk to numerous people over the phone, over AIM, in ICQ, and we all know each other. Its a very nice, organized setup. It may not have the "fancy gadgets" that we have here but it gets by. As long as you can type your fine there. We try to focus on quality posts, and we root out all the fuckers. Lets end this, please. All you are going to do is battle and battle and it will get NOWHERE. The forums each have better things than the other, so leave it to that. And I do remember igor advertising for this, thats how I got here. So don't tell death not to do it when I know people advertise for this. I even did it once, I didn't get banned for that (i called Brian numerous names and trashed his methods, now look, i am mod there  ). So check it out if you want to, you'll be surprised how mislead you were before.

I don't remember Igor ever promoting this board on CF. I remember some people, including carmaster, got all excited about this place and had links in their signatures. Brian soon put a stop to that, though. Not that we can blame him.
I do think that CF, as a board, is shite. The only good thing are the people there. I am aware that this is all a board really needs, but I think that if everyone got their shit together and moved en mass, then we could all live in harmany here - where we are not neglected by the admin. (in fact we are spoilt by the admin here  )But as long as they stay, so will I. CF members could do with checking out elitecaraudio to see where Brian concentrated all his efforts. |

Yeah, I'm a member at CF too, but after the board split, too many people left. I heard about this board and figured it would be a good chance to help build a board I would like.

yea the CF site is still pretty good. its the same group of about 15-20 ppl that post regualry and since ive been there since 99 i still like it. luckily most of the morons have left there exceot TS1. but its still a nice board. i like usin both

I visited CF and was not impressed . . . maybe I will revisit in a few months . . . it seems like it has potential.
