http://www.mechasports.com/msr_catal...eed_cex05.html its called a maxspeed "shotgun" do you know any sites that i can get a deal on a rear bumper only. ive been looking at a few, but i dont see whre i can get just the bumper.

Sweet, I wasnt able to find it anywere. All I could find for maxspeed is the single canister muffler and the maxspeed coilovers which I already have. Im gonna ask them for a quote. What did you say that you paid for yours?

Sorry man, dont know anywere other than E-bay to get just a rear bumper. I cant get ahold of Mecha Sports for a price. The lines are all busy bastards. Ill let ya know how much they are offer it for once I find out. Just incase you were wondering if you actually got ripped off or not.

looks like i didnt get ripped off.
http://www.2kracing.com/cgi-bin/web_...main/index.htm goto universal parts-->exhaust, then about 1/4 the way down. there it is.$195.00 theres a couple other dual canister mufflers, but i still like the maxspeed the best.

I forgot to ask, do you have stock pipe from you cat back to your muffler? Did you install it yourself? did you notice any gains other than the way it sounds, like HP wise?

yea, its stock(mostly) from the catback. i want to get a catco highflow cat, but its not that high on my list of priorities. i want the carbon altezza first.
i had midas install it. i forget how much it was for the muffler cause i also had to buy some pipe to be installed leading up to the muffler. it was badly rusted. yea i did notice some gain in power, but you cant expect alot. a muffler isnt a miracle worker, but it helps. i also have a coldair intake which adds a little more kick. the biggest improvement was visual. i have an automatic so it would change gears waaaay to early. now if i accelerate good instead of it changing gears between 3-4rpm, it goes up to 5-6k. although 6 1/4 is redline for me, so i gotta be careful sometimes. if i want, i can shift myself with my poorman's manumatic, which is how i actually get the best performance. i can get to 60mph in 2nd, and 75 in 3rd. but thats taking it kind of close to redline, and since im not running a quartermile i usually dont take it that far. but its nice to know you can.

another thing too. when i was on the freeway, before the cai & muffler, if i downshifted for any reason the engine would make a lot of noise but go nowhere. now i can feel it when it shifts to 3rd. although if youre already going 90 the pick up wont be as fast.
