Re: A sad day for all maro lovers........

haa! this reminds me of the other day..
this big ol' window-less E-350 work van rolls up beside me at a light, revving it's engine and the young kid turned his windshield-mounted radar on.. with a giggle, (and slightly forgetting the immense power some of those giant ass v10 Triton engines have) i took off and tried to take him with my 4-speed auto 3.4l 95 camaro. haha
This guy not only smoked me, but laughed in my face at the next light.. of course, i was laughing my ass off that my friend (pass seat) just witnessed my camaro losing to a full-sized van.. we could barely stop laughing..
it does make sense though, that's a big mofo of an engine and i drive a 3.4 :-D my car just looks faster.

Funny...I haven't been beaten by a turbo yet. Not even the Sti could take my camaro out and stopping at 120 mph , was no point in going on.

Turbos aren't everything - The end.

Re: A sad day for all maro lovers........

well the sti supposedly has 350 hp coming out of a 4 cylinder..that's pretty finely tuned. But yes , as of yet I have to be beaten by a turbo. I doubt I could win against Hypsi's GN but most the crap in the streets and stock rollers , pathetic. Raw power is much cooler.
