monooxide, there's aobviously something wrong with either the car or the driver of the camaro, or its not a 308. think about it. i wouldn't be prancing around on that one cause everybody knows something was wrong there

you guys don't understand that a 305 are dogs. the 305's back then are the equalivent of the v6 camaro's.

those things made like 160hp tops. its the 350's that makes over 200hp.

so its definitly probrable that the KA can take out a 305.

remember a 305 is only a 5.0 liter v8 with crappy throttle body injection.

the stats for that car is probrably 16's when new

and someone on the f-body forums ran his and got a 17.4!!! with a trap speed of only 74mph and his 60ft is 2.5

they just lack that much top end.

yep, the 305 V8 maros were the dark ages of american muscle. They packed a lot of torque, 300 lbs, but only 160 hp and weighed a ton. So while the lower rpms will move fast, it takes forever to get to redline before you have to shift

obviously you moron, if these 308 camaros only have 160hp then a 240 would probably beat it with light mods.. there are some guys on this forum with ka-t's and sr20s that would run 1/4 miles 3 seconds faster than this 308 camaro.. and when i think 5.0L i know there's a ton of torque but i'd assume they'd build it with atleast 75% as much hp as torque.. thats why i said you'd think a 5.0L would beat a 240 but apparently chevrolet had a hiccup
