lol ok now i know how to change the air filter. Is it bad to remove the filter tonite and leave the car without the filter on the whole nite? i leave the car outside since my sis and mom have the garage for thier toyotas.. i was hoping to do it tonite because i do alota driving during the day.

it perfectly fine to have the filter off all night..just as long no one goes out for a dukes of hazards midnight ride, then you will be sucking dirt in (= bad) ...but if the car is parked all night sure go ahead...moving it in and out of driveways is fine to ,just as long as you dont go far...

Whoa... it was freaking greasy... what was that? i thought it was water inside my filter.. but no? i used a air can to blow off all the dirt and damm my whole shirt got dirt all over it. Im not gonna replace it til jan though. when i replace it do the new filters come pre-greased ? or do i have to put some wierd greasy stuff on it after i buy it?

Its an oil, and filters come preoiled. K%N does at least.

can any1 tell me if this is a 1g bov or a 2g bov? i know the 1g bov is better than the 2g but i dont know the difference between the looks. the owner never told me he changed or stayed w/ the bov.
