i just did a quick search for that blitz nur spec, is it available for the 89-90 240sx? or is it just 91+

is there even a difference in exhaust setup between the 90's and 91's?

Re: greddy exhaust...myth or fact?

geez i hate when people ask questions like that..

the answer: it depends. thats like asking which shirt looks best.. they're all good, you just gotta pick the one that suits you the best

lol i wasnt asking what one would be best, let the other guy, i was just curious and wanted to know which ones sounded better on the 240 because there is only one nice 240 where i live with a turbo and i never see him anymore, though everyone else says they do, when i run into him im gonna ask him what kind of exhaust he has.

sorry about the misunderstand loqik however you spell your name, but im looking for a nice deep sound close to the link i posted on the first page, ok if it backfires a bit, but i dont want to spend $500 on exhaust that sounds like shit if you know what i mean. but like stated earlier when you spend that much on exhaust you tend to be happy with the quality.

Re: greddy exhaust...myth or fact?

I know what you mean, I'm afraid to go pick out an exhaust when I get my 240 cause I don't want it to sound like a Civic with a fart can. And it's L o g i k. ;-)

Re: greddy exhaust...myth or fact?

A turbocharged engine gives off a much quieter exhaust note than a Naturally Asperated(NA) engine. A turbocharger actually uses noise, among other things, to power the compressor wheel. It also uses exhaust pressure and heat. Noise is probably the least important of the three, but it is used. Well so the turbine absorbs some of that noise and converts it to energy leaving much less noise out of the tailpipe. Hence quieter. Plus the noise has to go through the turbine housing and much of it is baffled inside the housing. You will get more backfires in a turbocharged car though. At least I do! As for your exhaust choice, the Apexi N1 duals are really deep and pretty quiet. Look into them.
