my car hasn't ever locked me out. when its runnin it won't let me lock the doors. it doesn't even have to be on, if the key is in the ignition it won't lock. i still carry an extra key just in case tho.

gosh, iv locked my self out atleast 7 or 8 times, several times just by leavin doors shut and disconnecting battery while keys are in car, one time i was by myself and got locked out& i couldn't open the plastic thing my spare was in, so i started keeping it in my purse, well then iv locked my purse in the car WITH my original set of keys.... gosh never figured my these cars are so prone to locking their owners out

my car "unlocked me in" last night, and i had the key in hand. i opened the door and it the latch was froze so it took a while for the door to actully shut. i'm sitting in my car and i can't shut the door! now that sucks! solution was to jiggle the inside latch, and shut the door with the latch being pulled.

have yall ever had problems with trying to get into your car?? like tryin to turn the key to unlock doors and it wont turn to save your life? it feels like it want to budge but at the same time i feel like my keys about to break off in the door until i wiggle it around a little and then it will unlock..?

Not that, but my passenger door won't let anyone in now. Unless they pull on the handle 10-15 times.

Damn! That's cold. I don't know anything about having that kind of stuff happening... Nor do I want to.

Yeah, in my old 94 ESi and my New Tsi (sometimes) I have to really jiggle it in order for it to turn. I found that it was because there is a bolt on the door right at the end of the handle that has to be in and makes the whole handle assembly solid.
