I forgot to add that it will run you 2500-3500 to swap it right. price for left to right is yourself@2500 ,and 2500-3500 for a shop now the shop can tune your engine .And for you it will be hard if you don't have the right tools.

Yes this has been done. but for the price and the timperment of the tuning to get the turbo's into sync will way out weight the bennys of a better one bigger turbo . You'll get better numbers from a single bigger turbo with the right tuning.350+ to put a number in the air.

Yes you can.But I don't now how,or where to start. I know a few people that have the new 1.8 turbo kit. IIRC it's hot shots kit. I here good things about the kit. And it will save you a grip of money to buy the kit and not to swap..To me the swap is a last resort for power gains. Try over at www.nissanperformancemag.com or www.nissanforums.com to find the people that have put this 1.8 turbo kit on. look under sentras ,and scroll down to QR18DE secton and look. or try www.hotshots.com hope this helps guys

Re: SR20DET Engine swap

why would you want to twin turbo a 4 cylinder SR20DE? doesn't make any sense..!!! none what so ever!!. just size the turbo according to how much power you want to make. if you got six or more cylinders then you can twin it.

you can put an SR20 in a B15 sentra 1.8 ...my boy has on in right now...it used to be turboed but not any more.

Well there are alot of ways to get the engine.

front clip will cost 1000-2200 bucks on ave. and this will give you all the things you need to swap. minus a few things usmd tranny and axles.

or you can get the engine with or w/o an harness. it all depends on what you would like .and how much you want to spend.

the higher price is about the cost to have a shop to put it in. itwill differ
from place to place not by much tho.

And yes you can do what you would like and noone can do anything
but it's been proven that is really not worth the headache. that's my

Yes you can. and I have seen a 240sx SR20DETT . Now does it make sense? maybe not to you ,But to some one because it's been done to see if it could be worth it. right? other wise you would never know.
and yes turbo technology has come far in such a short time. So will we see twin turbo's even in the 6 cylinders maybe not. But that 's not for you or I do choose for him. if he wants to do it let him. it's his money too. I'm just here to answer questions with out taking sides.

if you would like the pic I'll send it to you . Just give me you email address

Re: SR20DET Engine swap

yea but at the same time a little advice goes a long way. he obviously doesn't know much about what he is getting into. truth is it doesn't make eonomical, logical, nor practical sense to twin turbo a Fwd Sentra SR20DE. i am not saying it cant be done. i kmnow of twin turboed hondas. money is an issue for him so help guide him down the right path. the T-25 will support 250hp at high 12s low 13s. i ve seen people push more power through them. and if you want more power just get a bigger turbo. where are youi gonna fit two turbos in the engine bay? who is gonna make that custom manifold? dual wastgate? two cylinders are gonna power each turbo? or are gonna be sequentail.? in line? what are you really thinking? why stop at two why not put 4 turbos!!! one per cylinder!!!
