what do you guys recommed i get if i wanna drop it. Should i get coilovers or should i get lowering springs. I want a smooth ride and if i was to get springs i hurd its best to get new shocks also. What do u guys recommend is the cheapest, best way to drop it, springs with shocks or coilovers. also recommend some brands so i kno what to look for, remember, i dont want something thats going to be $1000, kinda on a low budget

Re: Pics!! What You Think??

tanabe makes some good coil overs, they're around 650 but i mean, you get what you pay for, if you have the money i defintely recommend getting new shocks...

well i looked on ebay for some coilovers for the heck of it, and man they are cheap. im sure they're some crappy stuff but has anyone had any experience with them. They have like BOMZ racing coilovers and some generic brand for $40. But they look like slipon coilovers. They also have Skunk2 coilovers for $200, anyone have any experience with these, does anyone recommd them??, even tho u get what u pay for

Do it right the first time. On generic coilovers you're going to have a HORRIBLE ride.

Re: Pics!! What You Think??

manny is not kidding ban him! jk, hes joking lol. i have stock shocks w/ ground control coilovers 2" drop exactly and i have a surprisingly smooth ride. My friend had some HKS springs on his eclipse and his ride was bumpy as hell. Ive heard good things about the eibach pro kit, but that is a lil less than 2" and they are just springs not coilovers. I dont necissarily think getting new shocks is an absolute must (the shops will tell you it is absolutely suggested). If you have money for shocks, go for it.

i went with the omnipower full sport coilovers. The spring rate is 10k/12k. The ride can be a little bumpy because of the springs are really stiff but its not bothersome. I also got the omnipower camber kit. I got a great deal on them, $600 for both the coilovers and camber kit and shim kit. Heres a pic of the coilovers and camber kit
