The Ford GT won't be made after 2006.
Ford will likely replace it with the Ford Shelby GR-1 which will likely cost a lot more than a Dodge Viper when it goes on sale. I really like the Shelby GR-1. It reminds me of the Shelby Daytona Coupe. http://www.fast-autos.net/shelby/shelbydaytona.html http://seriouswheels.com/top-2005-Fo...minum-Body.htm http://seriouswheels.com/top-Ford-Sh...-1-Concept.htm http://www.fast-autos.net/features/05la/ford/index.html

The Dodge Viper SRT10 is hand-built at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit. It has forged aluminum wheels.
The new coupe has more cargo capacity, a more rigid chassis, and better aerodynamics than the convertible. 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe ![]()

Re: '05 Viper Coupe
Well the red one is new to me, that blue one is the 2nt prototype the first had wider stripes. You can see that it’s a prototype because of the line over the driver’s piller it’s an aftermarket that was molded on the back and not yet finished above the glass. Also went by my old work today and they have the copperhead viper in; it has the same rims of the prototype coupe’s and only 300 made a year. Funny thing is I quit because people were moving the vipers that shouldn’t be and the person that they got to replace me drive the viper into the posts on the drive. Caused 30k in damage but it wasn’t that bad looking mostly the wheel and disc but nothing bad. After another look I think I see a line in the 2nt photo so this might also be a prototype but maybe they like the line unless it can be a T top or something. The rear of the new Viper needs some work. It does look better than the new BMW 6 series.

The 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe arrives in Dodge showrooms in October at a base price of $83,995 including $850 for destination.
Two new styles of forged aluminum wheels will be available for the 2006 model year. Last edited by Jaguar D-Type; 08-20-2005 at 12:09 AM. |
