Wtf? It said there was a VR4 in there and it came in last... I didn't see one did anyone else? It looked like the skyline was the only AWD car.

it was the mitsubishi galant VR-4 not the 3000gt VR-4/GTO....i think the GTO/3000GT was created in 91' and this race was done in 90'.

yeah but none of those cars are "sports cars"...

i think a galant vr4 would be fun to have because it is such a sleeper. imagine pulling up to the civic in a 88 galant sedan. then the civic revs his engine and you just look at him and shake your head, the just blow the doors off of his turbo'ed civic. just a little dream of mine...

skyline is just a performance car....

galant is just an oddball...performance/sedan car

supra, i guess is a GT car

rx7, probably the closest to a sports car

that is just my opinion, when i think sports cars, i think mr2, lotus, ferrari, lamborghini....you know basically lightweight, MR layout, nimble...i dont know, i guess thats just my opinion. the name sports cars is jsut thrown around too much in my opinion. i talked to a kid with a escort call his car a sports car.

heh, that reminds me of a scary time. i never knew that a galant vr-4 existed. one night, i was driving down the road and i hear a bov, so instinctly i look around. this old car comes up next to me and revs his engine and then i hear the bov, i just thought, "did that thing just make that noise?". we raced and he beat me, i just shat my pants.
