When I bought the car...for a grand...there was alot of unrepairable body damage. I bought the needed panels (drivers fender, hood, trunk lid) and repaired numerous dents. Then I had it painted red (original color) and had them paint the mirrors, door molding, handles, plate holder...basically every thing that was black. I took off the lower side molding (or rockers), window pillars (door sashes), windsheild trim (just below the wipers), emblems, and the plate light holders and spray painted them to match the rims. All of the interior peices that were light grey (anything above the windows), and anything that was black...painted them gunmetal, too. The head liner is now red. I ripped the carpet off of the door panel insersts (where the handles are). I used my new found 'special technique' to give them a nice textured surface and then painted the inserts gunmetal and all of the fixin's (handles and p/w peices)...painted them red. All of the above only cost me around $650. That is all that I have done as far as appearance (it is lowered, but for PERFORMANCE) I LOVE SPRAY PAINT! I am going to take some pictures of everything one day...I will post them.
